About Breconshire War Memorial Hospital MIU
The Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at Breconshire War Memorial Hospital provides treatment for minor injuries that require urgent attention but are not life-threatening. Located within the main hospital building, the MIU is staffed by experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioners and Healthcare Assistants who can treat a range of minor injuries and ailments. X-ray facilities are available during specified hours (9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday). Please note that this is not an Accident & Emergency (A&E) department - for emergencies, patients should visit the nearest A&E department or call 999.
