About Haywood Walk-In Centre
Haywood Walk-In Centre is an Urgent Treatment Centre located in Burslem, Stoke-On-Trent. It is part of Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and provides a range of services for non-life-threatening conditions. The centre offers a nurse-led service treating wounds, cuts, grazes, rashes, ear infections, sprains & strains, fractures, bites, stings, minor burns, minor head injuries, and foreign bodies in the eyes. X-ray facilities are also available with the exception of children under 5 years and chest x-rays. Patients with minor injuries or minor ailments may self-refer to the service.
Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC)
This facility is an Urgent Treatment Centre, not an Accident & Emergency (A&E) department. UTCs are equipped to deal with minor injuries and illnesses that require urgent attention but are not life-threatening. For serious or life-threatening emergencies, please go to an A&E department or call 999.

If your injury or illness is not life threatening please call 111 or go to 111.nhs.uk first who will redirect you to the most appropriate place for treatment. If you do require urgent care you may be offered a time slot for arrival in the Emergency Department or Walk-in-Centre.
