About Omagh Hospital UCC

The Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex (OHPCC) is on Donaghanie Road in Omagh, County Tyrone, opened on 20 June 2017 to replace the old Tyrone County Hospital and operated by the Western Health and Social Care Trust. The on-site Urgent Care and Treatment Centre is a nurse-led Minor Injuries Unit open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, treating non-life-threatening minor injuries and illnesses including cuts, sprains, suspected simple fractures, minor burns and scalds, minor head injuries, bites and foreign bodies. The complex also hosts four GP practices, day surgery, outpatient clinics, an inpatient rehabilitation ward, renal services and a full primary-care diagnostic imaging service. OHPCC is NOT an acute hospital — for chest pain, stroke, major trauma or serious illness call 999 or attend the Emergency Department at South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen or Altnagelvin Area Hospital in Derry. Current Omagh UCC waiting times are tracked here in real time, sourced from the NIdirect average ED waiting-times feed and the Western HSC Trust.
